System requirements

Hum requires Windows 10 or Windows 11 on a 64 bit PC. You also need an internet connection when Hum searches for timed lyrics or loads artist information.

Installation

Open the Polar customer portal from your purchase email, download the signed Windows installer, and follow the Windows prompts. Hum installs for your Windows account and does not require administrator access for the normal setup.

First playback

Start Hum, play a song in a supported app, and give Windows a moment to publish the track. The overlay appears when Hum finds a timed lyric. Open settings from the tray icon to switch between square and ribbon views, change the background, or enable the OBS source.
